12,009 BTC worth $124 million moved as digital gold’s price hovers around 10k

Bitcoin’s price has been hovering around 10k for the past couple of days. The largest cryptocurrency with a market cap of $185 billion witnessed a 2.58% surge in its price over the last 24-hours. At press time, the coin was valued at $10,366 with a 24-hour volume of $18 billion. Most of the trading volume came from ZB.COM exchange via trading pair, BTC/USDT.

In a recent update by online crypto transaction tracker, WhaleAlert, 12,009 BTC worth $124,802,678 was transferred from multiple unknown wallet addresses to a single unknown wallet address. Whale Alert, shared the update on Twitter,

“12,009 #BTC (124,802,678 USD) transferred from Unknown wallet to Unknown wallet.”

The transaction was initiated by 11 different wallet addresses to address 15pyB7yDpuxENYiAjFf5SWFrdqoH5ijMy2 with the same timestamp of 07:10:40 UTC on  26 August. The hash of the transaction was 7d877220a9814b008291206aa58b49a744ace1892a7d5b2cf35365a67144d179.

Wallet address 3QqePh7s8bYEyJTSGWGvLZM1GvREjbSnix sent the highest number of BTC to the aforementioned wallet address. About 4,800 BTC which is worth $49,645,056 was sent. Previously, this wallet address received 3,200 BTC on 18 June and 1,600 BTC on 19 June from the wallet address 1JD6wTrEaKJVpK2MfDHxhUbbgcz3dy9rLC. The wallet address currently has zero balance.

The wallet address, 3E1HzPPAnZE2sEZvr4wDDod5zFdSS93EzC, sent 1,599.99 BTC which is about $16,478,972.

An amount of 999.99 BTC worth $10,305,667 was sent from the wallet address 3JdUnLwVeBnAqQqXD4k3r5HHuXRq46H2rk. The third wallet address 3PXJ9jQxdVRxSN1wZMNRKXRXB6FGudhr26 sent a total of 1,023.50 BTC worth $10,577,424.

Wallet address 3GDwabFjtsnyZochMWKXtbYrUCBzq5bNgb sent a number of  799.99 BTCs worth $8,264,717. This was followed by wallet addresses 3B4ut7PD4ur5469bC9qhxXS2djHuF2Cuvk  and 39nvov3UEKoa63QmhzP84XHDeZhWwJRiR2
sending 1,099.99 BTC worth $11,338,632 and 1,099.89 BTC worth $11,353,078.

The last few wallets sent comparatively fewer BTC to the receiving wallet. Wallet address 3Cuu9E85uTrkWJwiSNfeNDSW4RwtqYHgJR sent only 0.0693 BTC worth $715. This was followed by wallet address 3AvsNKhHU8PAKToVxNDSrGC2aPauX4RRYN sending a total of 399 BTC worth $4,120,131.  Wallet address 3B3C1TfVS1iiJL4AUXo1DXv7wHrv2nVmwn sent the lowest amount of BTCs of only 0.0107 worth $110.

The last address on the list was 3JQgQGUjrRseLbeQvctFDxgJtdcNYMnW9c who sent 185 BTC worth $1,908,888.

Notably, all wallets that initiated the transactions were left with zero balance and had received deposits in June. Additionally, the wallets that sent out the lowest amount of BTC received their deposits just a few minutes before the transaction.
