Gatehub announces partnership with Coil to facilitate Interledger-based deposits

The prominent XRP Ledger wallet and gateway, Gatehub, has recently announced a partnership with content monetization platform, Coil, to provide a new Interledger-based deposit method. According to the official post, Gatehub has recognized the importance and value of cooperation to support web monetization by improving ways of rewarding creators with the help of digital currencies. GateHub CEO, Enej Pungerčar, also echoed similar thoughts as he said,

“Money streaming is here! With a bright future ahead for Web Monetization and a growing interest in the Interledger Protocol, we are writing a new chapter with Coil. This is the start of a great partnership. Together we will bring this technology to a broader audience”

As of now, creators within the Coil platform can leverage this partnership to receive funds in XRP, in addition to having the option to convert it to EUR, USD, BTC and ETH. Furthermore, Coil CEO Stefan Thomas also commented on this development, stating,

“Our integration with Gatehub provides creators with the ability to withdraw their web monetized earnings to any European bank account. This makes it much easier for creators and developers across Europe to experiment with and use Interledger and Web Monetization.”

Staying true to all the recent partnerships within the crypto-ecosystem, the obvious intention behind the Gatehub-Coil partnership is to enable crypto’s mass adoption.
