Tezos Southeast Asia (TSA) has announced its partnership with Tribe, Singapore’s first government-supported platform for driving blockchain growth, at the Singapore Fintech Festival 2019. According to the announcement, the partnership will facilitate the launch of a ‘training program’ where Tribe will act as a strategic partner to the TSA, aiding them in the development of their blockchain ecosystem in Southeast Asia.

The training program will also ask trainees to present practical blockchain applications in a final capstone submission. President of TSA, Caleb Kow said,

“By enabling trainers with a good knowledge of Tezos blockchain technology, they will be able to amplify the impact in their respective teams through the continual transfer and sharing of knowledge to new learners”

The release also spoke of how the partnership aims to equip more developers with the skills required to develop on Tezos, subsequently enabling them to build blockchain solutions for real-world applications. With training commencing by Q1 of 2020, the program will largely focus on the technical aspects of the Tezos blockchain.

“With Tribe’s extensive experience in the blockchain industry, this programme will enable the developers to acquire the capabilities to architect blockchain applications on top of Tezos to solve real world needs.”

The announcement also mentioned that the initial run will be focused on a select group of trainers who will then transfer their knowledge to their students.

Tezos has been in the news lately. Earlier this week, it was announced that the French cybercrimes division had purportedly been using the Tezos blockchain to track operational costs. Last month, Tezos Southeast Asia also announced the launch of an Account Monitoring feature in Tezos.ID to aid users in keeping track of their accounts and monitor transactions activity.
