Klaytn, the Kakao-led blockchain arm, has announced support of numerous global exchanges, wallets, blockchain applications and listing portals to further extend its blockchain ecosystem. Klaytn’s official blog post revealed that cryptocurrency exchanges such as OKEx, BitForex, Coinone, and Upbit Indonesia have lent their hand in partnership for the same. Klayton is a blockchain arm led by South Korean Internet giant, Kakao.

Upbit Indonesia and Coinone already have extended support for Klaytn’s token KLAY or KLAY compatible tokens. In addition to the aforementioned platforms, Klyatn has partnered with digital asset platforms such as OpenSea, and several wallets supporting its native tokens like NOVA Wallet and Bitberry, including China-based multicurrency Huobi Wallet. Following the partnership, Andy Cheung, Head of Operations of OKEx, said,

“Exchanges and projects itself should work together to define and adopt standards that will promote digital asset adoption globally. At OKEx, we are always keen to work with market players in expanding the market and bring in quality projects in accordance with market needs, and I believe this indicates a good start.”

Jason Han, CEO of Ground X, and heading the development and operation of the global public blockchain platform developed by Ground X, stated,

“We look forward to seeing more developers participate in our platform as we continue to expand and solidify our ecosystem. As Asia’s no. 1 blockchain platform, we will offer high-quality, user-friendly blockchain services for millions of users”

Binance had previously revealed that the platform was the first leading cryptocurrency exchange to have joined the blockchain project dubbed ‘Klaytn Governance Council,’ to promote and stimulate sustainable growth in the blockchain ecosystem globally.

Industry giants like Samsung Blockchain, IDG Capital, and Shinhan Bank have already joined the Klaytn Ecosystem Partnership. The Klaytn partners consist of Governance Council, Ecosystem Partners, Initial Service Partners, KLAY BApp [Blockchain Application] Partners, and Investors.
