It has been an interesting past week for Bitcoin as the price surged past $12,000 mark but at press time, it was hovering again in the lower range of $11,000 after witnessing a 6 percent fall on 10 August.

The volatility of BTC’s price had a noticeable effect on other assets but Bitcoin’s arbitrary movement had the market confused  whether these were bullish or bearish traits.

Whale Alert, one of the major virtual asset transaction trackers recently notified that a total of 18,797 BTC, worth about $213 million was transferred from unknown wallet to unknown wallet over two different transactions.

One of the transactions took place between the wallet address 1JD6wTrEaKJVpK2MfDHxhUbbgcz3dy9rLC and wallet address 1C5gCwzbpcW9RAsU6i7kv8uAGdh6t6t4eg which had a timestamp of 12 Aug 2019 11:27:20 UTC. A sum of 13,021 BTC was transferred and it was carried out for a transaction fee of 0.00068544 BTC.

Another transaction which transferred a total of 5776 BTC took place from the address 1M1TfsvbmJD5CVhrwXsidRrpVrXY8f5rGU to 13W77zM57iVxwKw4wYya724BidStyKBB1C and with a timestamp of 12 Aug 2019 11:27:20 UTC.
