Gemini exchange welcomes David Damato as new Chief Security Officer
Amid the ongoing race to beat the fiat system, the crypto ecosystem is on the constant drive to include the most promising innovators in their arsenal. In this regard, Gemini, a leading cryptocurrency exchange and custodian, announced on August 19 that David Damato joined the company as the new Chief Security Officer (CSO).
The acquisition is expected to leverage Damato’s extensive experience at Tanium. Prior to Tanium, Dave was an early member of the leadership team at Mandiant, a premier cybersecurity firm that was later acquired by FireEye. The official announcement added,
“We are excited for Dave to continue our Security Team’s tradition of building and pioneering world-class security solutions to secure the future of money.”
The announcement was also appreciated by Gemini exchange’s Co-Founder Tyler Winklevoss, who stated,
“Excited to welcome David Damato as @Gemini’s new Chief Security Officer! Onward and upward!”
