Top up prepaid mobile airtime with BTC, ETH, XRP, LTC; and CRO with up to 5% cashback
Crypto.com announces today the launch of Pay Airtime. The new feature enables Crypto.com App users to top up their prepaid mobile airtime with BTC, ETH, XRP, LTC, and CRO using Crypto.com Pay, and earn up to 5% cashback for airtime purchased in CRO.
The new Pay Airtime feature allows Crypto.com App users to pay for their prepaid mobile services offered by over 340 prepaid mobile network operators, e.g. T-Mobile, Vodafone, Airtel, Orange, Verizon in over 100 countries. To top-up (for yourself or the others), users simply need to enter their phone number on Crypto.com Pay Airtime, confirm the network operator, select the desired top-up amount, and lastly, the preferred crypto option, BTC, ETH, XRP, LTC or CRO. If the top-up requires a PIN to activate, users will receive an email or SMS with all the redemption details.
Pay Airtime is the newest addition to the Crypto.com Pay product suite for retail users. Recently launched in Turkey and India, Pay Gift Card is now available in 33 countries. Crypto.com Pay Your Friends allows one to pay each other in crypto for free. In terms of the merchant network, Crypto.com has recently announced partnerships with Ledger and e-commerce platform Ecwid. For businesses, the company offers Pay Checkout for merchants to accept payments in crypto, and Pay Invoicing for merchants to collect crypto payment through invoices issued via email.
