CLIC technology a crypto payments firm has come together with Opporty for a browser extension that will support Amazon customers to pay for their purchases via ETH tokens.

The technology is powered by Plasma, developed by the founder of Ethereum himself, Vitalik Buterin. According to CLIC Technology:

“This will bring a modern day cryptocurrency economy one step closer to becoming a reality.”

The payment technology is the same as working algorithms of lighting network a bitcoin payment scaling solution.

Amazon can currently process 300 transactions per second  when compared to ETH which can process only 20 per second, but with the CLIC Technology and Plasma Cash in place it will be able to surpass more than that of Amazon currently.

With this tie up the two companies are looking at  bridging the gap between tech-savvy people holding the digital asset and are interested in making payments via the cryptocurrency.

With the above context, Roman Bond, CEO, CLIC Technology said:

We are more than happy we are at the center of merging the next generation industries and are thrilled to be working with Opporty on this project. However, this doesn’t mean we will stop at the above project. We have more ambitious projects in the pipeline.”

ETH is the only digital coin for now to make payment on the e-commerce platform, but the respective businesses are looking at imbibing more ERC-721 and ERC-20 tokens.
