XRP added to Canada’s NetCents Technology merchant gateway

Ripple’s partnership grows stronger as Canada based payment processing platform NetCents Technology declared,

“NetCents is pleased to announce the addition of Ripple (XRP) to the NetCents merchant gateway and Instant Settlement program to allow for purchases at all of our participating merchants.”

According to the report, XRP’s integration development has begun and “will move into integration testing this Friday, with plans going live thereafter.” NetCents has also cleared out that XRP will not be added the company’s NC Exchange and will be limited to be added to the NetCents merchant platform only for now.

In this regard, Mehdi Mehrtash, the CTO of NetCents Technology highlighted,

“With Ripple being a top cryptocurrency, with high daily volume and an increasing demand from merchants, Ripple is aligned with our requirements for our Instant Settlement program.”

The official release also highlighted that NetCents Technology is integrated into the Automated Clearing House (“ACH”) and is registered as a Money Services Business (MSB) with FINTRAC. It is also important to note that NetCents is currently available for deposits from 194 Countries across the globe.
