Block.one developing, Voice, a social media platform based on blockchain technology

Voice a social media platform based on the blockchain technology has been developed Block.one, the parent company of EOS as per a press release. 

Block.one put light on how it will make use of Eos blockchain and also gave transparency on its functionalities. Without any hidden algorithm or content pushing mechanism of with the user is not aware.

According to Brendan Blumer, CEO, Block.one, while comparing voice to other traditional social media platforms said:

“The truth is, current social media platform are designed to use their users. Just look at the business model. Our content. Our data. Our attention. These are all incredible valuable things. But right now, it’s the platform, not the user. That reaps the reward.”

The report also gave details on how Blockone had recently joined Coinbase earn program. It is an educational offering by Coinbase. With the help of the program users undertake a course on any particular crypto and in exchange charge a small payment in the said coin they are undertaking the learning. 

Eos has also recently partnered with Tether to implement Tether’s USD pegged stablecoin USDT on their own blockchain. The proof-of-stake-design for Tether Eos is likely a good fit for P2P microtransaction.
